Hey there — I’m Kaci.
Speaker. Writer. Administrative unicorn.
Creator of Be the Echo.
And author of Diary of a Desk Unicorn — because apparently I had more to say… and if you know me, this comes as no shock!
For over 20 years, I’ve been the behind-the-scenes fixer — the one holding it all together, putting out fires no one else saw coming, and leading without a title long before anyone thought to give me one. I teach leaders, teams, and everyday humans how to show up with purpose, lead with emotional intelligence, and leave a legacy — without needing a spotlight, a permission slip, or a perfectly curated plan.
Because real leadership? It doesn’t wait to be invited.
Now let’s be honest — this is a very polished version of me… but in my everyday life…
I’m a full-time working single mom to a sports-obsessed pre-teen who treats showers like a suggestion but shows up to baseball like it’s his full-time job. I’m a proud member of the overstimulated moms club, a chronic overthinker, and part of the ADHD “we had a plan but also… vibes” committee.
I run on coffee I’ve reheated three times, big feelings, bigger comebacks, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. I believe in sparkly shoes, rainbow pens, and that a little bit of kindness can change everything.
For most of my life, I was told I was too much.
Too loud. Too emotional. Too opinionated. Too visible.
So I tried to shrink. To soften.
To fit into spaces that were never built for someone like me.
But life has a way of shaking you out of that.
Through heartbreak, survival seasons, single motherhood, and rebuilding from the ground up — I realized something powerful: I was never meant to be smaller (or quieter).
I was meant to be heard.
I was meant to be felt.
I was meant to leave something behind that mattered.
I was meant to echo.
And now?
I help others do the same.
let’s start with the girl who was “a lot”…
the meaning behind the movement
My grandmother once told me,
“If you want to inspire people, then be inspiring.”
At the time, I rolled my eyes (as one does when they’re convinced Grandma is speaking in riddles).
But that line never left me.
Years later — after walking through loss, starting over, and learning how to rebuild from the inside out — I finally understood what she meant.
It’s not about doing something grand or impressive.
It’s about how you live.
It’s the legacy you build in real time through kindness, courage, consistency, and showing up even when no one’s clapping.
That realization became the heartbeat of everything I do.
Be the Echo started as a quiet reminder to myself that my story still mattered — even the messy, cracked, still-healing parts. Those are God’s favorite parts to use!
It grew into a message about how small acts and honest stories can ripple farther than we’ll ever see.
It’s not about having a platform or a spotlight — it’s about having the guts to live your values out loud. We are called to be “the hands and feet of Jesus”. It’s about choosing to echo kindness in a world that echoes chaos.
It’s about legacy — not the kind carved in stone, but the kind built in daily decisions to be obedient.
Because every time you choose grace over gossip, purpose over perfection, or compassion over comparison, you’re already being the echo that the world so desperately needs.
why i’m here
I’ve built my career — and my calling — around people.
Helping them grow. Helping them lead. Helping them show up fully human in a world that constantly asks them to be anything but.
Because I believe meeting people where they are isn’t just a strategy — it’s a responsibility.
And I believe healing and humor can (and should) exist in the same sentence.
Through Be the Echo, my writing, my speaking, and my book Diary of a Desk Unicorn, I help people rediscover their voice, reclaim their purpose, and remember something we don’t say nearly enough:
Legacy isn’t something you leave behind someday. It’s something you live — right now, in the middle of your everyday life.
I believe leadership starts with humanity. I believe your scars tell stories that could save someone else’s day — or even their life.
And I believe we are all leaving a legacy whether we mean to or not…
So we might as well make it one worth echoing.
Because Be the Echo was never meant to be about me. It’s about us. It’s a movement of people choosing to live a little louder, love a little deeper, and lead with intention — right where they are.
People who understand that the smallest moments can create the biggest ripples. That kindness is powerful. That presence matters.
And that the world doesn’t need more perfect people.
It needs more real ones — willing to echo something good.
mission, vision, & values
Be the Echo exists to awaken voices, ignite courage, and call people into purpose.
We create space for real stories, real healing, and real impact — empowering everyday world-changers to rise, speak, create, serve, and show up as living echoes of God’s goodness in their homes, jobs, communities, and far beyond.
We are here to remind you of this simple but holy truth:
God is not finished with you. Someone needs to hear your story.
our mission
We envision a world where people feel seen, safe, and significant.
Where broken stories become bold testimonies.
Where silent struggles transform into spoken hope.
Where everyday obedience creates extraordinary change.
Be the Echo isn’t just a platform — it’s a movement of voices, vessels, leaders, creators, storytellers, and servants who refuse to stay small, quiet, or stuck. We are here to echo love. To echo truth. To echo light.

No filters. No pretending. No performance. Just real stories, real people, real impact.
4. Compassion + Community
We do this together. We listen, we lift, we love, and we leave room for every voice.
our core values
5. Impact in Action
Faith without works is just noise. We create tangible change — not just inspiration.
